Gibraltar as a travel destination

Gibraltar is accessible by land, sea and air.

Direct scheduled air services originate from the UK; and Morocco from 29 March 2015.

Regular services to Gibraltar operate from the following destinations:

London Heathrow UK by British Airways

London Gatwick UK by easyJet

Bristol UK  by easyJet

Casablanca, Morocco via Tangier by Royal Air Maroc

Gibraltar is also accessed by road via the land frontier with Spain, to and from airports in Malaga, Seville or Jerez. TUI Airways also fly to destinations near Gibraltar. For further information on how to travel to Gibraltar from Spanish destinations please contact the Gibraltar Tourist Board.

The Borders and Coastguard Agency provides information and resources on Gibraltar’s immigration laws and policies. 
Travellers planning a trip to Gibraltar can, prior to travelling, use the interactive Visa and Entry section to confirm whether they require a visa to enter Gibraltar or if they qualify for a Visa Waiver.
They also provide land frontier queue information as well as access to real-time frontier queue cameras, plus flight and cruise liner schedules.
A valid passport is required to enter Gibraltar. In some instances, you may also need to have a visa.
