High standard for children’s Christmas Card Competition

The Governor, Edward Davis and Mrs Davis, in association with the Department of Education, presented awards to the winners, runners-up and the highly commended of the 2017 official Christmas Card design competition for school children in Gibraltar. 

Along with the Governor, the judges included Dr John Cortes, Mr Ludovic Leroy, Mr Darren Grech and Mr Mario Finlayson.

There were 295 entries, and again the standard this year was high.

The Winner received an iPad Mini 4, kindly donated Newton Systems Ltd.

The Winner along with the two runners-up and seven highly commended contestants were invited to lunch with the Governor and Mrs Davis at The Convent.
