easyJet and British Airways monopoly

Dear Editor,

It seems as though easyJet and the Gibraltar Tourist Board are congratulating themselves on the increased capacity of seats to London Gatwick and Bristol.

However, for passengers wanting to travel to Luton Airport for access to north London there is absolutely nothing since Monarch went out of business.

Getting from Gatwick airport to anywhere in north London is a nightmare, especially when flying late in the evening!

Furthermore, it seems as though easyJet has the monopoly now along with British Airways which will control the air fares to the detriment of passengers.

Now, possibly, the cheaper flights are from Malaga airport where there is more competition between airlines.

Regrettably, a bit of an inconvenience for north London and Home Counties travelers.

Sincerely,

Joseph Serra
