The International Adjudicator from the United Kingdom for the 17th edition of the Gibraltar International Dance Festival is Ms Jayne Wing.

Jayne trained at the Drusilla Duffill Theatre School graduating with a Teaching Degree. She was the recipient of the Helen Wingrave scholarship allowing to further her qualifications in National Dance. She was in the original London cast of Annie at the Victoria Palace Theatre and has performed professionally on many occasions, although her passion is teaching. 

Jayne is a Fellow of the Imperial Society of Teachers of dancing and an examiner and committee member of the National Faculty. For over three decades she runs the Pirouette Academy of Dance many of the pupils having gone to top performing Arts colleges, with many becoming professional performers working in the West End in touring companies, cruise ships or becoming very successful dance teachers both in the public and private sector.

Festival Organiser Seamus Byrne said, ‘M.O. Productions is delighted to bring over to Gibraltar a highly qualified and experienced individual in the world of dance. We are confident that Ms Wing will contribute towards the development of our performers and raise our local standards.’

The 17th Gibraltar International Dance Festival will be held between Wednesday 20th February and Saturday 23rd February 2019 at the John Mackintosh Hall Theatre.
