Albert Isola, Minister for Financial Services, last week hosted a number of events for the Gibraltar Funds & Investments Association (GFIA). These included two VIP dinners for financial services professionals such as lawyers and fund managers based in London; as well as opening a crypto fund breakfast seminar held at Gibraltar House on the Strand. 

Members of GFIA attending one or more of the London events included its Chairman James Lasry from Hassans, the deputy Chair Jay Gomez from Triay & Triay, as well as representatives from RSM Gibraltar, Juno Fund services, Hyperion, Atlantic Capital and Isolas.

Separately, Minister Isola also attended a series of private meetings in the City and Canary Wharf as well as visiting HM Treasury and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

Minister Isola was accompanied to the meetings in London by the Finance Centre Director James Tipping and Gibraltar Finance senior executives Timothy Haynes and Michael Ashton.
