The Ministry for Infrastructure and Planning says it is pleased to announce as part of Sustainable Traffic, Transport and Parking Plan that as from Wednesday 27 March, a new Pay & Display parking zone adjacent to Europort Road will become operational.

The area will now provide Pay & Display parking bays, which will be operational between 09:00 to 21:00 Monday to Friday and 10:00 to 16:00 on Saturdays. Parking will be free on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

The introduction of Pay & Display areas are in keeping with the recommendations of the Plan and provide parking turnaround and access to the areas with free parking beyond the Pay & Display times.

The Minister for Infrastructure and Planning Paul Balban said: “I am pleased to announce the introduction of a further Pay & Display to facilitate the need of visitor parking in the West District. The STTPP has highlighted the need to provide turnaround of vehicles especially around residential and commonly frequented areas.”
