Gibraltar gymnasts make it to British championships

The GGA are very proud to say that 2 Espoir Group travelled to UK last weekend and stunned the judges and spectators with the Ball Routine themed Spanish matador and Chicago. These young Gymnasts competed against 40 other groups and won a magnificent 4th place and 8th place. 

Thea Cawthorn, Nyah Galia, Lili Murphy, Lauren Garcia and Chanel Trinidad who are also part of the great Britain Espoir Squad have qualified and will be competing at the British National Championships in the end of July 2019.

Their newest group, Faith Guilliano , Alyse Lombard- Leria , Jasmine Vaughan , Isabel Hillman – Rota and Sienna Zarb had a remarkable first competition in Uk and qualified in 8th position. They too will compete in the British National championships in Liverpool Echo arena in July.

Head coach Sally Holmes says she is very proud of these gymnasts and that Gibraltar is at British National Championships with 2 groups.Now these gymnasts will continue to work hard in preparing for the finals. All the best of luck to them.
