High Level Political Challenge to Spain’s Gibraltar Colony Claim!

Although at this stage exact details are limited, reliable Panorama sources have exclusively informed this newspaper there is currently an on-going high level and robust political challenge to Spanish claims ‘Gibraltar is a colony of the British Crown’ made in Brussels and Madrid. 

We understand these talks are on going, which explains why further information at the moment is not available. Although discussions are thought to be politically and diplomatically intense in an effort to resolve this issue, already the matter has strained relations between UK and Spain in this important area of Brexit talks

The matter flared up in early February when the UK complained when the European Union described Rocks status as a “Colony” a term Brussels wanted to insert in a piece of draft legislation, although a word that had a full Spanish feeling about it!
