Extracts from case in Spain of two RGP officers

When we have asked the Commissioner of Police McGrail about the two police officers that were arrested, charged and sentenced in a Spanish court, he repeats in parrot fashion that 'it is our understanding that there are no adverse records in respect of any RGP officer in Spain.'

When the Chronicle and GBC followed up our report, and asked the RGP for a comment, they also got the same reply.

As stated in our report on Tuesday, we have legal documentation - even quoting the Spanish judge that took the case - but people wonder why Mr McGrail keeps insisting that he knows nothing - or is it that he doesn't want to know?

In the reports we have published, we have left out names, as that is not the point, the point is that the RGP want to cover up the matter.

At this stage we are not going to serialise the legal documentation, but we will publish some extracts - obviously in Spanish - which should prove that what Leo Olivero has been writing about is the truth and nothing but the truth.

*The extracts are in our print edition.
