More than 14,000 fishing permits issued

Every year, long queues can be seen at the environment offices - no wonder, over 14,000 permits have been issued since 2014. So, the demand is there, year in year out. 

B1 licences are valid for two weeks and B2 for three months and so have to be renewed regularly, which pushes the total numbers issued up. However, local licences are issued for three years.

Full local licences total 12,240, while total temporary licences for non-residents total 2092.
