Different ideas being floated at stuck talks with Spain

The Gibraltar delegation led by the Chief Minister returned from the latest talks with Spain with ‘areas of potential agreement and obvious disagreement,’ as Mr Picardo put it. But will the agreements outweigh the disagreements, or vice versa, as the deadline for future talks draws closer? For now, the talks remain stuck.

Yesterday, the Cabinet and the opposition were briefed ‘on the matters discussed’ and what constitute those areas of ‘potential agreement and obvious disagreement’ - but when we asked Mr Picardo what are those areas, the Government went mute.
