A non-paper which set out the basis for the future relationship of Gibraltar with the European Union was agreed between the Governments of Gibraltar, the United Kingdom and Spain on 31 December 2020. 


The Government issued a full statement about this on New Year’s Eve itself and the Chief Minister held a press conference on the subject.
