Dancing their way through the pandemic

Dancer Yalta Pons speaks about her dance upbringing how she had coped throughout the pandemic and her view on how Gibraltar’s evolved over time.


PANDEMIC
The first aspect we spoke about was how she coped throughout the pandemic both on a professional and personal scale. During her first lockdown last March turned from a long weekend in Spain to 64 days on her own in her summer home. Her husband Darion and herself made a decision as he works as operation manager in the GHA and was working 18 hours every day, they feared the squatter’s situation, as well as break ins, they also have pets and she feeds a lot of strays at the back of the house and she has a wolf hybrid he needs his moments with nature.
