Much the same can often be heard by those setting the world to rights in cafés. I spoke to several people to learn more about these issues.
Parking has become a problem for many. One person described the situation as ‘terrible’. Others stated that ‘trying to find parking in Gibraltar causes anger issues’ and that ‘you can’t park anywhere, the system is too complicated. Parking causes distress and anxiety’. One lady told me that she has recently been widowed and considered buying a car, but that parking concerns have deterred her from doing so.
Parking grievances frequently arose in conversations with the public.
