Spanish armada invades Gib!

A Spanish armada of between 30 and 40 fishing vessels invaded Gibraltar's territorial waters - and later accused Gibraltar of "provocation" because there was a local speedboat in the area flying a Gibraltar flag!

A “guardia civil” launch kept its distance well away from the demonstrating fishing boats.
Gibraltar patrol boats from the RGP, GSP, Customs and one RN Gibraltar Squadron vessel, formed a straight line between the approaching Spanish boats and the shore, clearly intended to discourage, if not stop, the Spaniards from getting too near to the quay. The North Mole was crowded with onlookers.
