Miss Gibraltar

THEN AND NOW

by MEGAN STRINGER
In the year 2000, Tessa Sacramento-Menez won the Miss Gibraltar pageant, which meant she was then able to travel to both London and the Maldives to participate in events for Miss World.
Almost 22 years on from the event, Tessa now works for the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission, is married and blessed with two children.

Explaining what made her enter Miss Gibraltar in the first place, the 39-year-old said: “It was something I had wanted to do and considered that it was a very exclusive platform that provided the opportunity to not only challenge and shape you, but also prepared you for many other life events - be it professionally or personally”.
