The ARMANDO LAGRANDE Column

It seems that there are those who fail to see the wider picture and instead think that only they matter.
Gibraltar is facing major issues, not only the pandemic and the strains emerging from that, but Gibraltar is engaged in matters of the greatest national importance for our future well-being.

More talks about the EU treaty will resume shortly, and it is no secret this takes considerable time of anyone who is in power, because if we get this wrong the consequences for Gibraltar could be devastating. We are told that hundreds of time-consuming meetings have been taking place, and they continue.
It is so obvious that those involved in such ongoing meetings and pre-meetings etc, cannot devote much time to do anything else. It is not that they do not want to address other issues at this point in time but that the time is not available. Is this understood?
