Number of juvenile arrests been ‘quite constant’ in the last six months

From looking at the Media Reports issued by the Royal Gibraltar Police recently, some may notice there are various instances concerning juveniles.


At the beginning of April, PANORAMA spoke with the Royal Gibraltar Police to find out how they were attempting to tackle juvenile crime. At the time, a member of the Community Policing Team explained that to try to confront crime and keep juveniles out of trouble, the RGP were adopting an approach that was three fold, namely ‘Engage, Educate and Enforcement.’
Due to the amount of juveniles featured in the Media Report in recent times, we put further questions to the RGP regarding the topic.
