What is happening to our good intentions? Some time back it was suggested that retail businesses would try and cut our plastic bags and offer the public say at local supermarkets paper ones instead. 

This to a great extent has happened but having said this, recently I bought three gem lettuces and they were as always held together by transparent paper but were placed on this big plastic container.
