Language of colour

People use the language of colour all the time without being aware of it with our eyes perceiving far more than we realise.
Cognitive scientists have analysed the language of colour. 

They found we can communicate warmer colours more easily than cooler ones. We can see millions of different colours. Our brains categorise human languages that we use to group these colours into, are much smaller. Certain languages only use three categories while others use up to twelve.
