When you go to vote today, a new voter identification system will be in place.
The government’s IT team have been working on a voter identification system which will speed up the process of votes, make it more secure , whilst making sure there are no clerical errors such as what polling station you are supposed to be in. Read more

The cap on social insurance payments which fund the Statutory Pension and Health Service will be increased as from 1st July.

Plans for a 1,000-seater National Theatre include building on top of the Mackintosh Hall, in fact it will entail sections of the present building to be removed and for certain present activities, such as gymnasium and school, to be permanently relocated, with segments of the building needing to be demolished in favour of new construction.
