It was Mr Picardo who in Parliament yesterday called Mr Azopardi the 'current' leader of the opposition, with Mr Azopardi thinking that his leadership was being questioned, because he reacted acidly about it, the whole thing obviously going down badly. Read more

The Need For Sturdier Checks at Entry Points?
With Gibraltar, now top of the global coronavirus swab testing hit parade, confirmed by the Chief Minister during Monday’s press briefing. Though I wouldn’t expect many awards from the World Health Organisation for reaching such a mark. When most countries, work out their swab testing efforts in their millions, instead of a few thousands as is the case locally! Read more

Covid-19 measures at Gibraltar Air Terminal
After the outbreak of Covid-19, Gibraltar Airport adopted a series of measures based on guidance and advice provided by Public Health Gibraltar and some aviation-specific guidelines provided by Public Health England.
Amongst these measures were the provision of hand sanitiser gels, the addition of Plexiglas screens, physical distancing mitigation, extra cleaning of public areas and trolleys and the provision of face shields for staff. Read more

The Ince’s Hall Theatre is undergoing refurbishment to keep in line with Government’s commitment to accessibility.
Gibraltar Cultural Services, on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, can confirm that Phase One of the works have now been completed. The works entailed essential underpinning along the southern external wall to the Ince’s Hall Theatre, in the interests of safety. Read more
