Given extraordinary circumstances, Government decisions should be open to Scrutiny... NOW!
If the Gibraltar Government wants to do the right thing and create an historical democratic millstone, it must open up and allow unfettered open scrutiny, which will deliver real openness over the many crucial life changing decisions taken. The issues that afflict the residents of Charles Bruzon house is the breaking point of an accumulation of experiences since lockdown. Indeed, the grievances as written in this report are to be read with relation to the context with which they exist in, i.e. an extended period of lockdown for elderly residents whom have borne the emotional weight and asphyxiation of quarantine longer than anyone in Gibraltar. The enormous undertaking that is Cancer Relief
Cancer relief has been operating in the community for 37 years, acting as advocates for the community relating to cancer issues and service provisions. It was established in 1983 with "the purpose of setting up a palliative care service and possibly opening a hospice." In those days, palliative care as a medical specialty was unheard of in Gibraltar. Read more

The new Governor, Vice Admiral Sir David Steel, flies into Gibraltar next Wednesday. He will be met at the foot of the aircraft steps by the Chief Minister, Commander British Forces and the Deputy Governor. Read more
