This week once again the Gibraltar Brexit team is away on their continuing mission.
The Chief Minister will be London to face a Lords EU Select Committee inquiry on Brexit, which incidentally coincides with the Gib Day in London event. For his part the Deputy Chief Minister Dr Joseph Garcia will also be on Brexit duties in Strasbourg at the EU Parliament. Read more

A group of Gibraltarian students recently enjoyed a memorable educational visit to Brussels. The students visited the European institutions, including the European Parliament, were welcomed to Gibraltar House by Graham Watson, and paid a visit to the College of Europe in Bruges. Read more

To mark the 213th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar, the traditional Act of Remembrance was held within the Trafalgar Cemetery, Gibraltar. Commander Mark Savage, Royal Navy, Commanding Officer Royal Navy and Commander Stuart Lawrence Royal Navy Commanding Officer Joint Support Unit placed wreaths on the graves of those who died as a result of the Battle. The ClimACT project has won second prize in an EU-organised event in Brussels. The ClimACT delegation included staff from University of Gibraltar and a local student, as well as students and representatives from the partner institutions across Portugal, France and Spain. Read more
