Dr Joseph Garcia MP Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for work related to our departure from the European Union spoke for nearly an hour and a half in Parliament yesterday for the second reading of the European Union (Withdrawal Agreement) Bill.
He said: At midnight on Friday of next week, Gibraltar will leave the European Union together with the United Kingdom.
The Withdrawal Agreement, the EEA EFTA Separation Agreement and the Swiss Citizens’ Rights Agreement will be provisionally applied as from that moment. Read more

The government says that reports in the press (NOT in Panorama) that say that two Moroccan nationals have been found inside Gorham’s Cave are inaccurate.
World Heritage Office staff from the Gibraltar National Museum reported to the RGP two persons landing on the rocky shore below the lookout platform at Europa Advance Batteries 1 & 2 in the morning of Wednesday. This shoreline falls within the Gorham’s Cave Complex World Heritage Site but no access was gained from there into Gorham’s Cave itself, which could not have been possible from land given the abrupt topography of the terrain. Last week’s police operation involving elements and resources from the Royal Gibraltar Police and the National Police in Spain who arrested 47 people during a Europol-backed operation targeting a people smuggling network or ring who facilitated the trafficking of Moroccan nationals into the EU… was without doubt, an excellent police operation. The Minister for Youth, Steven Linares, has met with the “Voice of Young People (VYP)” to discuss projects and initiatives, which VYP believe, are relevant to the youth in our community.
