US Congressmen visit Gibraltar

A group of five US Congressmen are visiting Gibraltar today and Thursday. They are led by George Holding, a long-time good friend of Gibraltar and the UK.

The Deputy Chief Minister Dr Joseph Garcia is briefing the visitors in No.6 this morning, to be followed by a reception.
There will be a wreath-laying ceremony tomorrow at the American War Memorial, followed by a dinner where Dr Garcia will deliver a speech, followed by a response by Congressman Holding.

Holding is the United States Representative for North Carolina's 2nd congressional district. He is a member of the Republican Party.
