Gibraltar’s 34th Special Olympic National Games announced for Mid-September
Annie Risso, CEO/National Director of the Special Olympics said, “Normally our national games are held in June but we have managed to reschedule because of certain difficulties but we have managed to put it together for September. It will run in the same way that we will be holding it for three days, but this year we have added another sport to our national games, it’s normally been the swimming, the athletics, and the football. Last year we introduced bowling as well but this year we also upped our sports that we are offering as there will be a golf tournament as well, and we are very excited about it.”
The Special Olympics National Games will take place on Wednesday the 18th September to Friday the 20th of September.
