Police area looking like a bombsite

The road area in front of Police HQ was looking like a bombsite yesterday, as roadworks gathered pace.

There was a big machine there doing what it had to do, and traffic was diverted from one side of the road to the other! 

There was debris everywhere, and great confusion as traffic set in. 

The myriad of police vehicles that usually parked outside New Mole House had disappeared - they were seen parked in the nearby areas, at least one on a prohibited parking space reserved for residents.

Imagine if there had been a security alarm...
