Morocco seeks closer ties with Britain via Gibraltar, say Spanish reports, which point at the postponement of high level talks between Rabat and Madrid, now scheduled for next February. 


The US is poised to sell a number of sophisticated drones to Morocco as part of closer ties with the United States. The Spanish analysis of the developing situation also points at Morocco wanting to strengthen its military position, and the question of the Western Sahara, - and it is noted that US president Trump was supportive of the Moroccan position over the Sahara.
