GIBRALTAR VEHICLES THAT ARE IMPOUNDED AT SPANISH FRONTIER - here’s why

Owners of Gibraltar registered vehicles have had their said vehicles impounded at the frontier by the Spanish authorities. 


The problem arises because anyone who is officially resident in Spain cannot own a Gibraltar-registered vehicle - while, likewise, anyone who is resident in Gibraltar cannot own a Spanish registered vehicle.
