Gibraltar Model Soldier Society hosts Toy and Model Soldier Exhibition

The Society is celebrating its fortieth anniversary this year, and the Exhibition was dedicated to the memory of GMSS members who have passed away.
The impressive exhibition included over 40 exhibits prepared by GMSS members and guest contributors. Many model vehicles and over one thousand model figures were on display.
The displays covered several historical eras, ranging from the Ancient and Medieval periods, to the Second World War and beyond. One exhibit detailed the history and evolution of the toy soldier, including information and material regarding the composition and casting of figures.
