Genuine interest to find solution over Gibraltar,says EU

Talks with Gibraltar are more constructive and there is a genuine interest to find a solution, said the head of the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement.


A Spanish euroMP Jose Millan Mons, from the Partido Popular, asked about the Gibraltar negotiations and what were the principal obstacles, the points of friction etc.
Stefan Fuehring, Head of Unit, EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement, said that they continued negotiating about Gibraltar. In general, the tone was more constructive. There is a genuine interest to find a solution. It is also very complicated.
