Edinburgh flights to and from the Rock non-operational in peak summer time

Locals and tourists alike were left confused after flights from Gibraltar to Edinburgh, and vice versa had been removed from the easyJet website, with easyJet confirming to PANORAMA that the route will not be operating in July and August.


The flights, which were previously on the website were supposed to be operational in the months of July and August and had formerly been available to book, however as of Friday, April 1st, they are no longer offered.
A message on the website displays: ‘no flights between 25th Jun & 6th Sep’.
The route became operational in June 2021 after being announced in 2019 and was the first direct connection between Gibraltar and Scotland.
