Happy Birthday to Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II who celebrates her 96th birthday today, April 21st, 2022. Born in Mayfair London in 1926, she was the first child of The Duke and Duchess of York who later became King George VI and Queen Elizabeth.


Her Majesty’s bigger, more publicised birthday celebrations won't start until June when it will be commemorated with the annual Trooping of Colour parade.

The Queen celebrates two birthdays each year, one on her actual birthday in April and an ‘official’ birthday on usually the second Saturday in June.
