Charity Cardboard Boat Race is back

After a three year break due to the pandemic, Saturday, September 3rd 2022, sees the return of the Charity Cardboard Boat Race in Ocean Village.


Organised by the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (RAOB), anyone can take part, as long as their entire vessel is built out of corrugated or standard cardboard, with the following materials also permitted in the construction; Brown wrapping paper, Newspaper, Tissue Paper and Cardboard Tubes.
Secretary of RAOB, Darren Olivero told PANORAMA that the boat race was created some while ago, initially taking place at the beaches.
