The Ince’s Hall Theatre is undergoing refurbishment to keep in line with Government’s commitment to accessibility.
Gibraltar Cultural Services, on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, can confirm that Phase One of the works have now been completed. The works entailed essential underpinning along the southern external wall to the Ince’s Hall Theatre, in the interests of safety. Read more

Mediterranean ship repair facility Gibdock has completing an extensive two-vessel drydocking and maintenance project for Shear-water GeoServices.
The Gibraltar-based repair and conversion specialist worked on the seismic research vessels Oceanic Sirius, and SW Empress. Read more

– Gibraltar’s only public library
John Mackintosh Hall is home to Gibraltar’s only public library. Before his death in 1940, John Mackintosh “left a specific request in his will for a public library to be incorporated within the proposed cultural centre”. His father, being a member of the Exchange and Commercial committee, had established a civilian library in 1871 amidst protests, thus, the “provision of a library was a matter of importance to the Mackintosh family”. The second meeting of the MoU Committee on Citizens’ Rights took place yesterday in Gibraltar, hosted by the Government at the Garrison Library. It was described as constructive.
The meeting was at a technical and official level, the Gibraltar team being led by the Attorney General Michael Llamas. Read more
