At a Passing Out Parade held yesterday in Central Hall, 17 RGP recruits were presented with certificates to mark the successful completion of their 21 week training course.
The parade was inspected by His Excellency the Governor, Sir David Steel, with Chief Minister Fabian Picardo in attendance. Read more

The Gibraltar Parliament paid tribute yesterday afternoon to both Lady Marcelle Hassan and Claire Borrell, both of whom had sadly passed away since it last met.
The Chief Minister led the tributes with the Leader of the Opposition, the Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Justice. Mr Picardo explained that Marlene Hassan Nahon, who is in mourning, would, be away from the session. Read more

One of the stars of Malta’s Special Olympics was congratulated for his sporting success at New Mole House yesterday.
Marvin Zammit, who works in the RGP’s Roads Policing Unit, won Silver and Bronze medals in the Bowling events during the competition last month. Read more

Last Friday we were treated to an end of term concert by the students of Gampa at the John Mackintosh Hall. In the old days, we all took part in an end of term concert, but this was reserved simply for the students and teachers.
