THESE ARE THE FACTS
Both the chief minister and the education minister Cortes have issued pretty pictures in social media to deflect from what PANORAMA published about the delays in completing works in two schools. The public had not questioned what the finished products may be like, in fact if you pour millions you are bound to get a positive response, but the final product was not being questioned as the public is not aware of what that would be - but the questions have been about not completing those works, particularly because the start of the new school term was there, known to everyone and for all to see, so why such delays? A plant which is said to be poisonous can be found all over Gibraltar.
It is the nerium oleander, also known as adelfa, which is a large ornamental evergreen shrub with a profusion of flowers of different colours generally in the summer months. It is used in motorways because they are long-lasting, but when used in town areas questions are being asked. Read more

It was not unexpected that Gibraltar would not win against Turkey, who recorded nine attempts on target against a Gibraltar side that was playing defensively. Despite that, Gibraltar had four attempts on target, so the final reading can only be that if Turkey had better marksmen up on the attack, the scoreline against Gibraltar could have been greater.
